About Us

Eco-Tourism Hub is a non-governmental organization at the intersection of climate action, sustainable tourism, and community development. Our mission is to empower students and young people to drive innovative, climate-resilient tourism solutions through capacity-building, advocacy, and hands-on experiences..
Founded in 2023, we envision a resilient and sustainable future, where tourism serves as a tool for environmental protection, cultural preservation, and economic growth. We bridge the gap between youth and environmental action by integrating eco-tourism, climate innovation, and community engagement into our programs.

Environment & Climate Change Advocacy

Eco-Tourism Hub leads climate advocacy efforts in Sierra Leone by:

  • Developing training programs that equip young people with practical eco-tourism skills.
  • Advocating for climate-resilient policies that address the impacts of tourism on sustainable livelihoods and vulnerable communities.
  • Raising awareness on the effects of climate change on natural heritage and tourism ecosystems.

Promoting Eco-Tourism

We promote eco-friendly tourism through:

  • Organizing educational tours to climate action centers, biodiversity parks, and waste recycling hubs.
  • Showcasing Sierra Leone’s cultural and historical heritage sustainably to encourage responsible travel.
  • Encouraging nature-based tourism that supports conservation and community well-being.
